Discover the World of Light and Smart Materials

Join an exciting hands-on summer science program in Jerusalem, where students aged 10–16 will explore the fascinating interaction between light and matter through real laboratory experiments and interactive activities.

Participants will learn about lasers, colors, optical spectra, smart materials, fluorescence, ultraviolet light, thermal imaging, and emerging technologies. Throughout the program, students will conduct scientific experiments, develop critical thinking and creativity, and gain experience in a research-oriented environment.

The program concludes with a final scientific project and poster presentation, where students showcase what they have learned and receive a certificate of participation.

Location: YMCA, Jerusalem
Duration: 6 weeks (June 30 – August 11, 2026)
Schedule: Two sessions per week, 2 hours each session
